Power Hour 2022: Lorenzo Candelpergher, CEO LC&Partners, Ranks 39th

LC&Partners is an international multidisciplinary Construction Project Management and Integrated Engineering Consultancy Firm operating on an international basis with a keen focus in the Middle East.
Originally established in 2004 in Italy, its international operations started in 2007, with a main focus on the Middle East Region, where a first subsidiary was established in Abu Dhabi in 2009 and a second one in Dubai in 2011. Progressive expansion followed with various projects across several GCC and African Countries. In 2015 the company underwent a substantial reorganization with the main focus on Portfolio, Programme and Construction Project Management, which was followed by the opening of new representative offices in Muscat, Riyadh, London and Kampala, with a staggering +400% growth over the following 5 years.
It has recently established a Tokyo office to capitalise on the opportunities offered by Osaka EXPO 2025, and to progress new business development in East Asia.
Lorenzo Candelpergher, Italian, is the founder, sole owner and CEO of LC&Partners Project Management and Engineering, originally established in 2004 as a small engineering practice with two fellow engineers which has grown to become Italy’s #1 international PMC with global operations, including the Middle East, where the company scored a stellar performance at Expo 2020 Dubai, managing the design, construction and (currently) dismantling of 13 pavilions.
Since 2007 he progressively broadened his international exposure, with significant road, railway and airport and public buildings projects in Europe, Middle East and Africa, progressively shifting his focus from engineering to construction project management, which became the core business of LC&Partners since 2015, with a portfolio of projects diversified across a vast variety of asset classes ranging from high rise residential, mixed used and office buildings, low rise luxury residences, hospitality, healthcare, industrial, logistics, retail, energy efficiency, fairs and exhibitions, defence and more.

Expo Dubai 2020 has brought LC&Partners under the global spotlight: the firm was, in fact, the busiest PMC in the context of the international exposition, appointed to manage design, construction, facility management and dismantling of 13 pavilions, including Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Philippines, Chile, Peru, Angola, some of which received multiple awards.

LC&Partners’s future is focused on progressing further growth across the GCC, especially in the UAE, KSA and Qatar, with a strong emphasis on the trending sectors of logistics, data centres and complex buildings / infrastructures (“where others may want to steer away, our company thrives on challenges and complexity”, says Lorenzo Candelpergher) but also in East Africa, where LC&Partners are busy with the construction of a flagship specialized hospital in Uganda) and the Far East, with an eye on the Osaka Expo 2025, for which the company has recently started operation of a Japanese subsidiary.
