Dulsco’s key role in Expo 2020 Dubai highlighted the company as the region’s leader in sustainable living. As the Expo’s Official Waste Management Partner, Dulsco exceeded expectations by successfully diverting 90.9% of all waste generated prior to and during the event, away from landfills. The company strategised ways to recycle all forms of waste, including paper, plastic, glass, organic, and construction debris. Dulsco placed solar-powered compactible bins across the Expo grounds, used biofuel to power their vehicles and electric buggies to transport waste within Expo to their facilities for sorting. They also spread awareness to educate millions of visitors about sustainability practices. At the core of Dulsco’s ethos is sustainability, the spirit of which the company anticipates will continue into 2022 and well into the future, to pave the way for a more eco-conscious UAE.
