As the Head of Sustainability at KPM, Si is dedicated to delivering forward-thinking sustainable projects across the Middle East. With over a decade of experience at world-class firms like Foster + Partners and Sweco, she has had the privilege of collaborating with some of the most innovative architects and engineers on many iconic projects. These experiences have shaped her holistic approach to driving innovative, sustainable solutions.
Sustainability has always been Si’s passion, and she continuously strives to push the boundaries of what sustainable design can achieve. She ensures that their designs are innovative and impact-measurable by leveraging advanced, data-driven simulation tools. It is incredibly inspiring to see sustainability emerging as a central design focus in Middle Eastern projects, with immense potential for meaningful change.
Recently, she became a member of EmiratesGBC (Green Building Council), a vital platform for advancing sustainable development in the region. Si is particularly encouraged by the EmiratesGBC Women’s Network’s success, which fosters opportunities and recognition for women. While construction has long been viewed as male-led, this dynamic is rapidly changing, with more women excelling in leadership roles and driving impactful projects.
