Linesight refreshes construction consulting offering

Construction consultancy Linesight is targeting 15 percent growth in the Middle East and North Africa over the next 5 years, with the launch of a set of new services aimed at helping the industry consolidate costs and simplify project execution.

Formerly known as Bruce Shaw, Linesight will add programme management, new construction sector specialised consultancy and procurement to its core competencies of project, cost and supply chain management.

The new services – launched immediately – respond to a shifting market dynamic in the region, as major construction companies look to streamline operations against a backdrop of oil market uncertainty and a regional economic slowdown. Linesight’s new capabilities will deliver economies of scale whilst increasing control over budgets, schedules and project delivery.

“The fluctuation in oil prices has forced governments and developers across the region to cut spending plans and review strategic tactics. As consultants, it is our job to help clients review their strategic priorities and match them to the most efficient services,” said Niall Greene, Regional Director, Linesight.

“With a business model tailored specifically for the Middle East and in-depth cultural and domain expertise across multiple industry sectors, we are uniquely positioned to ensure that projects are running on track and on budget.”

Linesight has introduced consultancy services covering a broad range of areas, from financial advice, taxation and legal support, to whole life costing, and value engineering. Consultancies are called upon for strategic guidance and counsel very early at project consideration stages.

To cater to this, Linesight is providing a range of specialist consulting services to public and private sector clients, covering all facets of PPP/PFI projects. These range from initial concept and business case development, through to final delivery and operation. Working collaboratively with clients, Linesight will guide them through every step of the development process, advising on the best practices to guarantee maximum return and add value across all areas of their business.

Linesight has also rolled out Programme Management services to support organisations working on a network of simultaneous projects or connected projects. By looking at the program of work in its wider context and implementing sound management methods aimed at optimising all stages of development, running large projects will become a simple task with Linesight’s support.

From design through to operations, Linesight will effectively manage all the risks involved in such large projects, delivering a cost cutting, stress free management service for clients.
