Greenline Interiors wins $38mn hotel fit-out contracts

Greenline Interiors (GLI) has won the AED 140mn ($38mn) contracts for the Wafi Hotel project in Dubai and Shaza Hotel in Riyadh.

The deals follow hot on the heals of a pair of fit-out projects awarded for the Bay View Hotel and Jewel of the Creek projects in Dubai.

Samir Badro, chairman and CEO of GLI, said: “Our proven expertise in craftsmanship and high quality fit-out services has earned us a substantial and growing portfolio of hotel projects, and we are delighted to be adding to this.”

The Wafi Hotel project will be completed in two phases, with phase one consisting of 475 hotel rooms and 97 apartments, while phase two has 26 suites, 2 ambassador suites and 1 royal suite (all without soft furnishing), as well as partial public areas. The scope of work at Shaza Hotel in Riyadh includes the fit-out works for 205 rooms and partial public areas.

GLI has worked with a number of prestigious hotel operators and delivered iconic projects including the seven-star Burj Al Arab and the Hotel de Vendôme in Paris.

The company has its eye on the horizon and is currently negotiating further contracts that will further grow its impressive portfolio.
