Abu Dhabi: EllisDon bags project management for Aldar’s Water’s Edge

Abu Dhabi-based developer, Aldar Properties, has awarded EllisDon the project management consultancy services for its Water’s Edge residential Development at Yas Island.

The project consists of 13 apartment buildings, a community facility, and a mosque. Water’s Edge is situated in the heart of Yas Island with its own canal along an 800m promenade and will feature landscaped gardens, fully equipped gyms, jogging and cycling tracks, and a waterfront promenade with retail and F&B offerings.

The overall gross floor area (GFA) is around 250,000sqm and construction has already started.

A statement from the company said: “EllisDon is thrilled with the award for the PM services for the development and honored by Aldar’s trust in us, building on a great relationship achieved through the successful delivery of the Ansam project also on Yas Island.
