ABB awards $11mn deal to Nass for Dubai Hills Estate substation
Bahrain-based Nass Contracting won a $11mn contract from automation and technology major, ABB, to execute the civil works for a substation project at Dubai Hills Estate.
A mixed-use lifestyle development project, Dubai Hills Estate, is a joint venture between Meraas Holding and property developer, Emaar Properties. Located centrally on the junction of Umm Al Sequim Road and Al Khail Road, the project is envisaged as the premium lifestyle community.
Dubai Hills Estate boasts residential, commercial, and leisure areas, plus an 18-hole championship golf course spread over a sprawling 102ha area.
The contract has been awarded to Nass by Swiss group ABB, which is also responsible for the design, installation and commissioning of the substation.
