Streumaster Maschinenbau appoints Andreas Marquardt as Managing Director

Andreas Marquardt, 52 years old, was appointed as new Managing Director of Streumaster Maschinenbau GmbH in Egglkofen, Bavaria, since February 2020. He is the successor of Didier Gutzwiller, who died in an accident last year. The Streumaster management consists, besides Mr. Marquardt, of Catherine Gutzwiller, who owns the company. Streumaster belongs to the family-run French Gutzwiller Group that employs 120 people in total in the field of soil stabilization, recycling and road reconstruction. Mr. Marquardt looks back on 30 years of international experience in the construction- and supply industry. During the last 20 years, he held different positions within the
Wirtgen Group.

Inter alia, he worked closely together with the Management Board of the Wirtgen GmbH on developing business in the French, Spanish and Portuguese speaking markets and was contact person for international key customers and construction companies.

“Thanks to his long-time international experiences in Sales, Marketing and in the establishment of strategical partnership relations, Andreas Marquardt is a great support for the development of Streumaster Maschinenbau”, states Catherine Gutzwiller. Andreas Marquardt points out the following outlook for the future: “We would like to  professionalize the system partnership with Wirtgen and to standardize our range of products in order to get more competitive here at our Egglkofen location. Moreover, our goal is to modernize our machines extensively. In my opinion, this goes hand in hand with increasing investments for the expansion of the production facility here in Egglkofen.”

Streumaster produces binding agent spreaders for road construction with more than 90 employees in a high vertical range of manufacture. Their system partner Wirtgen exclusively sells the binding agent spreaders all over the world.
