JLG delivers 32 scissors lifts to Indian AWP rental company

Rentease International LLP, a AWP rental company based in Bangalore, India, has taken delivery of 32 JLG scissor lifts.

The company, founded in 2017, has plans to grow aggressively and plans to expand its fleet to 300+ units in the next few years seeking coverage across India.

“We are excited by this delivery,” commented Meghraj Singh, Rentease’s founder and managing director. “We see this as a first step in a long lasting relationship in meeting our future business development goals. The Indian AWP market – as we have observed it – is changing rapidly, with users seeking more but foremost new equipment. The economic outlook for the region is optimistic, and we will continue to seek growth opportunity in the area and add more equipment to our fleet.”

“Rentease is a startup operation driven by a group of young and dynamic entrepreneurs,” said Pankaj Gupta, JLG’s country manager in India. “TVS Iyengar and Sons – our decades old partner in India – and JLG are welcoming another rental company to the Indian market, driving the adoption of AWP’s in the market and bringing more new equipment into the territory.”

He added: “The Indian AWP rental industry is showing healthy signs of growth driven by the increased adoption of AWP’s and increased levels of safety and productivity awareness. Increasingly, progressive rental companies like Rentease are seeing value in adding new machines to their fleet. Rentease’s customers are too benefiting from this strategy. Newer machines are more efficient on job sites, less prone to ad-hoc maintenance and coherent with the latest safety standards.”
