Renault launches shared urban mobility vehicle EZ-1 Prototype
EZ-1 Prototype an electric vehicle of the Mobilize brand by Renault is a new mobility solution created for shared use.
Users will only pay for what they use, in terms of drive-time or mileage. The vehicle is connected: it comes with keyless access and interacts with users via their smartphone.
The Mobilize EZ-1 Prototype is a compact and agile electric vehicle for two people. The vehicle is only 2.3 metres long and has a minimal footprint. With top-to-bottom glass doors it gives users complete views of the surrounding.
This vehicle features an innovative battery exchange system. This alternative to the traditional charging infrastructure means the vehicle can be used non-stop. It is also is built according to circular economy principles. Made with 50% recycled materials, it will be 95% recyclable at the end of its life cycle.
EZ-1 Prototype is part of the Mobilize brand, one of the new four business units created by Renault that offers new and sustainable modes of transportation.
