Pradeep Yesudas has been appointed Manager of MFC Cargo Container Concepts
Industry veteran Pradeep Yesudas has been appointed Manager of MFC Cargo Container Concepts (MFC Concepts), the container conversion, modular fabrication and container depot arm of Modern Freight Company (MFC) Group.
Container conversions are increasing in popularity across the Middle East and surrounding regions due to the limitless design possibilities, fast construction time and cost-effectiveness. Pradeep brings to his new role almost 10 years of experience in modular construction management, strategic planning, business development and channel partner management. He is charged with the operations for the company’s United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Qatar facilities, the latter a joint venture with GAC Qatar, covering a total of 130,000 sqm and heads a team of over 50 staff.
Laurance Langdon, General Manager for MFC Group, says Pradeep’s appointment is timely: “We see immense growth in the Electrical Houses (eHouses) sector and bespoke container conversion business. Having established a strong foothold in the industry since 1994, Pradeep’s experience in large-scale projects and excellent project management skills will further elevate the MFC reputation in these specialised areas.”
Pradeep says MFC Concepts is well-primed to take advantage of the uptick in the container conversion and modular construction business, with its strong financial background, precise engineering work, top-notch facilities and extensive global network.
He adds: “MFC Concepts has an exciting vision for growth and I look forward to being the driving force to take the company to even greater heights.”
For over 25 years, MFC Concepts has worked with many renowned Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) companies, Oil & Gas majors, property developers, hoteliers and retailers to provide bespoke container conversion solutions and specialist eHouse modular fabrications. It also delivers first-class container leasing, trading and repairs services to some of the world’s top container owners and shipping lines and Non-Vessel Owning Common Carriers (NVOCCs). It operates from a 35,000m² depot in the UAE and a 100,000m² depot in Qatar.
