Lionel Jean-Francois Henry, Managing Director Lyve Logistics, said: “Acquiring a warehouse was a necessary step towards meeting our clients’ needs. Our commitment to becoming a full-fledged logistics partner goes hand in hand with our vision to build a digital ecosystem of last-mile delivery products – allowing our partners to leverage our offerings.”

Over the past few months, Lyve had been working on honoring its commitment to logistics and digital development. Earlier this summer, the last-mile company was selected to join Abu Dhabi Investment Office‘s Innovation programme on account of its unique portfolio of digitally advanced products and its potential to become an innovation leader in last-mile logistics.

Through the programme, Lyve is granted the opportunity to grow its R&D department and accelerate the creation new digital offerings designed to further streamline and increase efficiency in the final mile.

This milestone had been preceded by the company’s launch of its first cross-border delivery solutions from the UAE to Saudi Arabia – which had been especially attractive for SMEs thanks to its competitive prices and flexible payments terms. From no minimum orders to daily schedules and reduced customs delay, Lyve helped numerous smaller ecommerce businesses penetrate the highly lucrative Saudi market.

Lyve now runs operations across all UAE for ecommerce, F&B, grocery, banking, healthcare, and courier businesses across the UAE. The last-mile company has been expanding over the last few years and is now serving clients across 15 countries through logistics, digital products, or both.
