The second in a series of six slides in preparation to lift The Link 100 metres above ground took place on October 13th, 2019. The link can now be seen hanging over The Happiness Bridge. UAE-based facilities management company, Emrill, has been awarded a six-year contract by Dubai Airports, where Emrill will deploy over 1,000 cleaning staff at Dubai International (DXB) Terminal 3, concourses A, B and C. Mobilisation of concourse A will commence on March 1, 2020, with services effective from April 1, 2020. Services in concourses B and C will commence on June 1, 2020.
