Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has opened a new 170-m bridge at the intersection of Nad Al Sheba and Dubai-Al Ain Roads comprising of two lanes in each direction. The bridge serves the traffic from and to Dubai-Al Ain Road heading to Nad Al Sheba, Meydan and development projects in the neighbourhood. The construction of Nad Al Sheba interchange is part of the Dubai-Al Ain Road Improvement Project currently undertaken by RTA. Moller – Maersk has continued to deliver strong growth and profitability, with record-breaking performance marking the 12th quarter of successive year-on-year earnings progress in the second quarter of 2021. Revenue grew 58% to USD14.2bn in Q2 and EBIT increased almost five times to USD4.1bn. Etihad Rail, the developer and operator of the UAE’s National Rail Network, has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Western Bainoona Group. Etihad Rail will deliver rail freight services to the Group for their construction materials from Western Bainoona Group’s facilities in Fujairah to Abu Dhabi and Dubai, according to a WAM report.
