In addition, W Dubai – The Palm’s culinary attractions include two Michelin-starred chefs – Massimo Bottura presents Torno Subito, his first restaurant outside Italy, while Akira Back’s first restaurant in the Middle East brings unmistakable style and inspired Japanese flavours to this international hub.

Linesight – which came on board at the concept stage of this project in 2012 – successfully costed and managed a number of design upgrades, provided the full spectrum of pre- and post-contract services, and advised on procurement strategies throughout the development.

Ciaran McCormack, Regional Director for the Middle East, Linesight, said: “We are proud to have contributed to the delivery of this outstanding new addition to Palm Jumeirah. It is a credit to the engineers and designers for their hard work and shows Linesight’s commitment to budget maintenance and effective cost control, without compromising on specifications or quality.”

“Pre-opening design changes typically trigger escalating costs, but modifications were made using Linesight’s value engineering analysis. To date we have worked on over 44,000 hotel rooms across multiple continents and applying that extensive national and international hotel chain experience was essential to successfully delivering this project and ensuring a high-quality outcome for the client,” added McCormack.
