Leminar wins International Safety Award
Leminar Air Conditioning Industries, a specialist in HVAC ductwork manufacturing in the region, has won an International Safety Award from the British Safety Council.
The International Safety Awards, which is now in its 59th year, recognise organisations from around the world which have demonstrated to the schemes independent judges their commitment to preventing workplace injuries and work-related ill health.
Mike Robinson, Chief Executive of the British Safety Council, congratulated Leminar on their success in winning an International Safety Award 2017: Sensible and proportionate management of health and safety risks at work brings lasting benefits for workers, their families, businesses and society as a whole.

Dipak Bhadra, General Manager, Leminar Air Conditioning Industries, said: Health and Safety is a key priority for us. We have a massive 325,000 square feet factory, where over 200 employees work amidst large machinery.
We ensure that every single one of our workers is provided with all the necessary safety gear and there is no compromise on health and safety standards. We are proud to note that since our new facility was opened in December 2015, there have not been any safety incidents till date.
In 2017, over 500 organisations won an International Safety Award. They span all sectors and are drawn from the United Kingdom, Africa, Asia, India and the Middle East. The winners will be presented the certificate at the 60th Anniversary and International Safety Awards Gala Dinner on Friday 5 May at Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
