Dubai: Damac Towers by Paramount records 25 million safe worker hours

Dubai developer Damac Properties announced that its Damac Towers by Paramount is celebrating a record 25 million safe worker hours, eight times more than the industry average of three million hours.

Ali Sajwani, general manager of Operations at Damac Properties, said: “Zero incidents is our most important performance benchmark, with worker safety being a critical factor in the decision making processes when selecting our construction partners. Damac Towers by Paramount is a four-tower master development that demanded considerable effort and care during its construction.  As we work to finalise the remaining elements to bring the project to completion in the coming months, we are happy that we have set a new safety record with our partners at the site.”

Located in Dubai’s Burj area and developed in collaboration with Paramount Hotels & Resorts, the complex stretches 250m high and offers exclusive access to beautiful landscaping and pool areas on the podium level, numerous health facilities, on-site parking, and a variety of high-end dining establishments.  With over 2,000 units, the project comprises hotel apartments across three towers and a single hotel tower with over 800 hotel rooms operated by Paramount Hotels & Resorts. The development will have a total built-up area of approximately 37ha, and an estimated sales value of $1.35bn.
