Al Shafar Interiors appoints new Managing Director

Al Shafar Interiors (ASI), a subsidiary of ASGC (Al Shafar General Contracting), has announced the appointment of Mazen Kaba as Managing Director, ushering in a new strategic focus on increased diversification and future growth.

Kaba comes to ASI with more than two decades of senior leadership experience, having supervised the delivery of numerous multi-million dollar projects in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Angola, and Syria.

This will include projects under the ASGC umbrella as well as collaborations with other leading contractors. Some of the highest profile projects include Green Community Phase 2 and 3, Bluewaters Island Residential, and La Mer Open Beach Retail.

Diversification is a key consideration for ASI, as the company seeks to boost its capacity for customization by entering new business lines and bringing highly-talented professionals into the company. This, along with increasing operational efficiency and introducing new technological advances and manufacturing methods, will now be driven by Kaba.
