Al Kifah launches eco-friendly concrete in Saudi Arabia

Saudi-based Al Kifah Readymix & Blocks has launched the eco-friendly ‘green concrete’ in the Kingdom for the first time, thus setting a new benchmark in the construction market.

The live batch plant trial was held at the company’s main factory at Al Ahsa in the presence of senior officials of Al Kifah Readymix & Blocks besides its partners and consultants, said the company in a statement.

The new product, which has been made using natural pozzolan material manaseer crete, boasts several key features including durability, sustainability, and environmental friendliness. In addition to this, the green concrete will help cut all manufactured mineral material to the minimum thus resulting in less carbon footprint and less trucks on the road, it added.

One of the main companies of AlKifah group, it is a major provider of well concrete and interlock. The company has more than 27 prime distribution outlets in the kingdom including capital Riyadh, Jeddah, Makkah, and Madinah besides AlAhsa, Dammam, and Jubail areas.
